Museum volunteers are the
heart and soul of the Melrose Area Historical Society's museum. Each volunteer has a
"specialty" area to work in, and all are willing to pitch in on other museum
needs. MAHS is proud and thankful to have many dedicated volunteers that have
steadfastly taken care of the tasks of maintaining a quality museum and heritage center
for the area.
Our volunteers receive
tremendous satisfaction to be a part of operating and maintaining the
Melrose Area Museum which has quickly become an asset to this area in
Stearns County.
There is always an ongoing need for people of
all ages and talents to join this group of volunteers. Some duties of the volunteers
include tour guides (we offer training in this area), organizing displays, general typing,
computer data entry, assisting in the research center, and general cleaning and building
maintenance.
If you have talents to share, or items to
donate, you may contact the Society at rpaschke@meltel.net
